Anton K. Strahal

Anton K. Strahal (1898–?) studied at the Kunstakademie in Dresden. In 1930, he was among the founding members of the ‘Werkbund Salzburg’, which sought to counter the ‘levelling influences of large cities’. At the Werkbund Estate, he furnished house no. 62 by Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky. In 1935, he was made professor for architecture and interior design in Valparaíso, Chile. His only work as an architect was two single-family homes in Parsch (1933–34).
