Hans Schlesinger

Hans Schlesinger (1890–?) studied at the Technische Hochschule in Vienna. He worked in an atelier with Willy Wiesner and designed a living room for the 1930 exhibition ‘Book and Space Today’ at the Künstlerhaus in Vienna. At the Werkbund Estate, he and Wiesner furnished house no. 23 by Clemens Holzmeister. Schlesinger emigrated to the USA in 1938. His known work consists mainly of designs for entrances and weekend houses (1929).
