Hermann John Hagemann

Hermann John Hagemann (1902–?) worked for the renowned architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, acting as his construction manager both for the German pavilion at the World Exposition in Barcelona in 1929, and for his Haus Tugendhat in Brno in 1930. He is also known to have collaborated with Albert Esch, one of the best known modernist landscape designers in Vienna. At the Werkbund Estate, Hagemann furnished house no. 28 by the French architect André Lurçat with tubular steel furnishings from the company Thonet-Mundus.
