Carl Panigl

Carl Panigl (1905–?) studied carpentry at the Staatsgewerbeschule in Vienna, whereafter he was active for five years as a stucco worker (probably in his family business). He then studied under Josef Hoffmann and Josef Frank at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Vienna (1924–27). At the Werkbund Estate, he furnished house no. 44 by Hugo Gorge. It is also known that he had his own atelier between 1936 and 1941.
